New-age Hindu haters on the loose

By Dhaval Ramtirthkar

The months of August-September are the months that bring together both love and yearning for the arrival of Maharashtra's beloved deity. At the same time, the growing trend towards making Shadu idols of Ganapati Bappa while preserving the environment is attracting attention. Various groups conduct Ganpati making workshops (paid or voluntary) online or offline.

Rotary Club of Kharghar, a branch of Rotary had announced to hold one such eco-friendly Ganpati Idol Making Workshop on 25th August 2024. This workshop was going to be held on Facebook Live and Google Meet. I was looking forward to this workshop because for the past few years I too wanted to learn to make Ganpati idol at home. But handicrafts and I have at opposite ends since my childhood so I needed someone to teach me the craft. That opportunity presented itself in the earnest. Coincidentally, while visiting Pune, I accidentally found Shadu mati in a hardware store. Two kilos for sixty rupees!

As planned, on 25th August 2024, Om (my eighth grade son) and I arranged the required materials and sat down in front of the tablet and started making Ganpati Bappa. The beginning was fun. The dry soil of Shadu was to be kneaded, but we found the kneading extremely tough. Our hands became sticky with the shadu soil. The teaching lady had already mixed the soil when the session started and she started teaching from that point onwards. That made me and Om lag behind since we had to begin from scratch. Somehow we were following the woman's instructions and our idol was taking shape. Bappa's legs were done, stomach was done, hand holding the modak, the blessing hand was also done. We even put Bappa’s head on it. Next came preparing the trunk or nose of Ganpati Bappa. Om and I were kept doing the sond or trunk one after another but to no avail.

Just then a voice came, "Madam aaj aap kya bana rahi ho?" It was the voice of a 10th-12th class boy. To this Sheetal Warey madam innocently replied, "Aaj hum Ganapati ki murti bana rahe hai".

After asking the first question, different people started asking the same question again and again. Now madam and we realized that someone is kidding and making fun. Sheetal madam ignored them and continued with her session. But this was just the beginning.

In the next moment, a video of obscene dancing songs was projected on the screen. Now the screen of Sheetal Madam had disappeared and several songs kept being projected one after the other. It was not one person who did this but there were 4-5 different persons creating nuisance.

Without stopping here, they started indulging in some very rude, obscene conversation on purpose. They started talking to each other using words like 'e lovede ke baal, chutiya and so on. Hearing such foul language many parents of boys and girls left the workshop and logged off to escape this obscene hearing to the nonsense gang. However, these Hindu-hating elements continued their rampage. I instructed ma'am twice, messaged to 'Mute' these persons or remove them from the meet. But because Madam and her colleagues were not media savy or were taken aback by the suddenness, no action was taken by them.

After some time madam's colleagues finally got into the act and removed the members of this gang one by one and peace prevailed in the meeting. But what had to happen had happened. Most of the children or individuals who participated in the workshop had left the meet to escape this vulgarity. And secondly, those who were still left did not know how to make the crown and eyes of Ganapati Bappa.

One thing is clear from this unholy event that Hindu haters have started trying to disrupt Hindu festivals and rituals in a very planned manner. This seems to be a deliberate conspiracy to create a deliberate disturbance in the ways of the Hindus by using the new generation, in the new age. So that the Hindu society remains ignorant of its traditions, customs, culture, and this seems to be a deliberate attempt to increase their misogyny.

Thus, in the next 5 minutes Madam completed the idol was and the program ended. In the end only the Sheetal madam and Om and I were left in the meet. It is a matter of deep regret and great anger that they had succeeded in thwarting the program of making idols of Hindu deities.

Through this experience, a new policy and danger of destruction of Hindu culture was revealed in the new era.

Be careful. Make friends with technology and defeat the efforts of the Hindu-hating society!

The first Ganapati idol made of Shadu clay by Om and myself.

Property Tax Name Change - Documents and Process (Katraj area)

We bought a flat in Laketown CHS, Bibwewadi. The society is huge and consists of 30 odd buildings. There is this grand Entrance Gate. Once inside the gate, the road goes straight up ahead and comes to a fountain, some 100-150 meters ahead. After we bought the flat, we realised that the area and all buildings behind the fountain fall in Katraj area, whereas all buildings from the Main Entrance till the fountain fall in Bibwewadi area.

We got to know this only when we reached the Property Tax Office on Hirabaug Rd. to submit an application for change in name on Property Tax Receipt. There we were told to go to Katraj Prop Tax office since our flat falls in Katraj Area.

Thus, we went all the way from Bibwewadi to Hirabaug and back to Katraj.

Katraj Prop Tax office Directions:
On Pune-Satara Highway, reach Katraj Snake Park & Zoo
Just opp the Katraj Zoo there is a yellow-coloured Kalubai Mata Temple.
Take a U turn from Katraj signal and get on the Service Road.
Take the small lane just next to Kalubai Mata Temple.
Barely 50 mtrs. ahead lies the Katraj Property Tax Office.

Note: There is NO Xerox shop available anywhere near the Property Tax Office. You have to head down some 500 meters on the main road towards Swargate and only then you'll find a Xerox shop.

In the Office we met Mr Nimbalkar who handles the Name Change process. Fortunately for us, he was a very honest and straightforward guy. He gave us the Name Change form which had a list of documents mentioned. Incidentally, this list is not available anywhere ONLINE.

So, here it is. You can see how the form is and what are the list of documents necessary while applying for Name Change on Property Tax.

Note: You will have to compile a copy of all the listed documents in a physical file and submit the file to the officer, in our case it was Mr Nimbalkar. He was very cooperative and we didn't have to pay a single rupee to get the name changed.

Within 15 days, our name was updated and we received the next Property Tax Bill on our name.

The List of Documents are ticked on the 2nd Page of the Form.

1. Copy of Registered Sale Agreement
2. Copy of Index II from the Agreement
3. Copy of your flat Share Certificate
4.  NOC from Society for Name Change (to be obtained from Society office)
5. NOC from Property Dept for Name Change (to be obtained online)

BSNL Disconnect

How to disconnect your archaic BSNL Landline connection?

Following are the documents one needs to submit at any BSNL Centre:
Internet threw up very little, that too incomplete info.
So I had to visit Bajirao Rd. BSNL Centre and found this list pasted on one window.

Two wheeler Duplicate RC & Re-registration

Process to Apply for Duplicate RC and Re-Registration of Two Wheeler (together)
as experienced by Dhaval Ramtirthkar in July 2018

If you've lost your Original RC and your vehicle has completed 15 years then all you need to do is follow the right procedure and visit RTO two times. When I enquired, all agents quoted from Rs.7000 to Rs.9000 for duplicate RC and Re-registration. One agent even quoted Rs.2100 just for FIR which is a 2 minute process.

For lost/damaged/expired RC

1. FIR
First and foremost, lodge an online FIR on Maharashtra Police Lost and Found website https://punepolice.co.in/lost-found/
Take a print. This will help you even at the time of vehicle inspection for re-registration.

Day 1
2. Register your vehicle
If your vehicle is old then, in all probability, you'll have a manual RC. You need to go to Pune RTO (Sangam Bridge) and show ongoing Insurance Certificate or Xerox of lost/damaged RC.

On submitting this, your vehicle will be registered in NIC database and reflect online on Parivahaan.
https://parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/vahan/ui/statevalidation/homepage.xhtml

You can input your vehicle number on the website and see all the details.

Day 2
3. Green Tax / Environment Tax
Paying the Green Tax which is mandatory for all vehicles above 15 years. It's Rs. 2000 for two wheelers.
Once my TVS Victor was registered online I went to RTO. The window official calculated the Green Tax to be paid. I paid the tax (in cash only) at another window. Since I was late by one year, I had to pay a penalty of Rs.720. So my total Green tax was Rs.2720.

4. Re-registration first
Before you can apply for Duplicate RC, you need to complete the re-registration process.
I logged into the Parivahaan website using my vehicle registration no (MH12...)
Then go to 'Renewal Registration' section and Pay Rs.550 online (fee as of July 2018) as stipulated.
On payment I got access to Form 25 online.

I also paid the RC Particular fee Rs.50 online on the website (as of July 2018)

I took a print of Form 25 and the Payment Receipt and RC Particular Receipt.

4. Alandi Road RTO for Re-registration
All vehicles need to be physically taken to Alandi Road RTO (Vishrantwadi) for physical inspection.
At Alandi Road RTO go to the backside of the license test building. The inspection official inspected my documents which included:
- Form 25
- Rs.550 payment receipt
-Tracing of Chassis No. on Form 25
- Online FIR
- Insurance copy (if you don't have ongoing insurance then get it insured first. If they refuse then you need to get a 'Covering letter' from the insurance company on a provisional basis saying that you'll submit the Original RC in few days time)
- Photocopy of lost/damaged RC
-Valid PUC Certificate

Important: The vehicle inspector then physically inspected these things of my vehicle:
- Chassis Number
- Mirrors
-Brake light whether it's working
-Indicators whether they're working
- Horn
-He'll ask you to start the bike and observe the smoke from the silencer.

Post this inspection I was asked to go to 'Entry Desk' who manually entered all document details in a Register and stamped my Form 25

Now I took that Form 25 to the Inspection Officer and he put his stamp on it.

Then to Window No.1 who inspected and verified all the documents. He told me whom to take the form to at Sangam Bridge RTO for signature.

Step 5: Sangam Bridge RTO
I took the stamped Form 25 (along with attached documents) to Sangam Bridge RTO officer.
(in my case it was Mr Sangare's who sits on the left side as you enter the building)

Step 6: Submission
I took the signed Form 25 (and all documents) to the window (as per your vehicle number)

Duplicate RC
At this stage, since I also wanted Duplicate RC, I was asked to attach Form 26 (for Duplicate RC) along with the documents.
*You can get the form outside at the Forms Counter. No need to scout for it online.
It is important that you write your mobile number on Form 26. It is mandatory.

Back, I submitted all documents along with Form 25 and Form 26. I was asked to attach my Aadhar Card copy which I fortunately was carrying with me.
Then my left hand thumb impression on Form 26 and Aadhar copy was taken. I signed it and then he directed me to pay the additional stipulated fee of Rs. 350.

*There is a separate window for payment of fees. The window officials will tell you where to go.

Step 7: Ta da da... Done!
From there I went back to the earlier window and submitted the documents and payment receipts. On finally verifying all the documents he gave me a Submission/Application Receipt and said to expect the Duplicate RC and Re-registration confirmation in One Month time by post.

Pl. Note: If you don't receive the Duplicate RC in 1 month, you are expected to visit the RTO and check in the Delivery Department (on the 1st floor)

Crossing my fingers and waiting for my Duplicate RC and Re-registration now!

My Cost for entire Process:
Online FIR                               NIL
Green Tax                               2720 (of which Rs.720 as late penalty)
Re-registration fees Online      550
RC Particular Fee                     50
Xerox                                        20
Attestation                                 40
Final DRC + RRC fees           350
RTO Parking Fees                     20

TOTAL ---->   Rs. 3750
against Rs.7000 demanded by Agents

(one agent even asked Rs.2000 for lodging FIR saying that it's a very cumbersome process. It took me less than 5 minutes to register the FIR online!)

Doing it yourself v/s Agent
1 Visit if you go with agents
2 Visits if you do it yourself
Saving of Rs.3250!

No Agent Menace at RTO
Gone are the days of agents pestering you and you feeling helpless with the slow RTO procedure, thanks to Online registering. The procedure at RTO has been made extremely user-friendly. As a result, the agents have realised that those who want to do it alone can do it. So you can expect friendly agents who provide advice free of cost at the RTO.

Information Desk
Plus, you can always approach the Information Desk inside the Sangam Bridge RTO building. They will readily and politely help you and give you the process information.

Are you a Secularist?

Then please answer these questions for yourself

There are nearly 52 Muslim countries...

Show one Muslim country where Hindus are extended the special rights that Muslims are accorded in India?

Show one country where the 85% majority craves for the indulgence of the 15% minority.

Show one Muslim country, which has a Non-Muslim as its President or Prime Minister.

Show one Mullah or Maulvi who has declared a 'fatwa' against terrorists.

Hindu-majority Maharashtra, Bihar, Kerala, Pondicherry , etc. have in the past elected Muslims as CM’s, Can you ever imagine a Hindu becoming the CM of Muslim - majority J&K?

Today Hindus are 85%. If Hindus are intolerant, how come Masjids and madrasas are thriving? How come Muslims are offering Namaz on the road? How come Muslims are proclaiming 5 times a day on loud speakers that there is no God except Allah?

When Hindus gave to Muslims 30% of Hindustan for a song, why should
Hindus now beg for their sacred places at Ayodhya, Mathura And Kashi?

Why Temple funds are spent for the welfare of Muslims and Christians, when they are free to spend their money in any way they like?

When uniform is made compulsory for school children, why there is no Uniform Civil Code for citizens?

In what way, J&K is different from Maharashtra, TamilNadu or UttarPradesh, to have Article 370?

Why Gandhi objected to the decision of the cabinet and insisted that Somnath Temple should be reconstructed out of public fund, not government funds. When in January 1948 he pressurized Nehru and Patel to carry on renovation of the Mosques of Delhi at government expenses?

Why Gandhi supported Khilafat Movement (nothing to do with our freedom movement) and what in turn he got?

If Muslims & Christians are minorities in Maharashtra, UP, Bihar etc., are Hindus not minorities in J&K, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya etc? Why are Hindus denied minority rights in these states?

Do you admit that Hindus do have problems that need to be recognized? Or do you think that those who call themselves Hindus are themselves The problem?

Why post - Godhra is blown out of proportion, when no-one talks of the ethnic cleansing of 4 lakh Hindus from Kashmir?

In 1947, when India was partitioned, the Hindu population in Pakistan was about 24%. Today it is not even 1%. In 1947, the Hindu population in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) was 30%. Today it is about 7%. What happened to the missing Hindus? Do Hindus have human rights?

In contrast, in India, Muslim population has gone up from 10.4% in 1951 to about 14% today; whereas Hindu population has come down from 87.2% in 1951 to 85% in 1991. Do you still think that Hindus are fundamentalists?

Do you consider that - Sanskrit is communal and Urdu is secular, Mandir is Communal and Masjid is Secular, Sadhu is Communal and Imam is secular, BJP is communal and Muslim league is Secular, Dr.Praveen Bhai Togadia is ANTI-NATIONAL and Bhukari is Secular, Vande Mataram is communal and Allah-O-Akbar is secular, Shriman is communal and Mian is secular, Hinduism is Communal and Islam is Secular, Hindutva is communal and Jihadism is secular, and at last, Hindustan is communal and Italy is Secular?

When Christian and Muslim schools can teach Bible and Quran, Why Hindus cannot teach Gita or Ramayan ?

Abdul Rehman Antuley was made a trustee of the famous Siddhi VinayakTemple in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. Can a Hindu - say Mulayam or Laloo – ever become a trustee of a Masjid or Madrasa?

Dr. Praveen bhai Togadia has been arrested many times on flimsy grounds. Has the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Delhi, Ahmed Bhukari been arrested For claiming to be an ISI agent and advocating partition of Hindustan?

When Haj pilgrims are given subsidy, why Hindu pilgrims to Amarnath, Sabarimalai & Kailash Mansarovar are taxed?. A Muslim President, A Hindu Prime Minister and a Christian Defence Minister run the affairs of the nation with a unity of purpose.

Can this happen anywhere, except in a HINDU NATION - HINDUSTAN?

Please forward it to as many Indians as possible

True Hero!

NATHURAM GODSE

A true Hero who's been demonized by the vicious campaign of the 'Congress raj'.

A Punekar pays his tribute to this original 'Punekar' and a
true patriotic.

HINDU HRIDAY SAMRAT 'Balasaheb Thackeray'

The rightful heir to the throne of Shivaji Maharaj. Maharashtra is indebted by this great man.

For, today Maharashtra is because of Bal Thackeray!

Maharashtra yanna vandan karto.

Glorious Maratha Empire

This map shows the illutrious period of the Maratha rule (1760). Never before had the 'bhagwa' fluttered with as much pride as it did during this period. Thanks to the strong foundation laid by Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj and later by Peshwa Baji Rao. Now, it's upon us, the younger generation to keep this legacy alive.

Jai Maharashtra.
