This map shows the illutrious period of the Maratha rule (1760). Never before had the 'bhagwa' fluttered with as much pride as it did during this period. Thanks to the strong foundation laid by Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj and later by Peshwa Baji Rao. Now, it's upon us, the younger generation to keep this legacy alive.
